Prvoga dana '4. Rally Kumrovca' vozio se rally challenge, utrka na kojoj su vozači mogli nastupiti i bez licence. Na atraktivnom prologu u Tuheljskim toplicama nastupilo je više od 40 posada. Pobjeda je pripala Janosu Szilagyiju i Botondu Csanyiju u Mitsubishi Lanceru Evo IX. S 0:03,5 zaostatka drugi su završili Antal Kovacs i Gergo Istovics u Ford Fiesti R5, dok su treće mjesto s 0:13,1 zaostatka za vodećim zauzeli Danijel Šaškin i Damir Bruner u Mitsubishi Lanceru Evo X. Jedina ženska posada Gorana Hunić i Katarina Husnjak u Ford Focusu zadovoljila se 18. pozicijom.Pet posada je zbog tehničkih problema s automobilima odustalo i nadaju se startu drugoga dana za koji su predviđena još četiri brzinska ispita sa startom i ciljem u Kumrovcu. Program počinje u 10,01 sati.
Organizer has dedicated great attention to the safety of spectators and all the official on the competition, of which we highlight some of the details:
• The event is reported to the DUSZ (State Administration for protection) with a correct GPS location for landing helicopter in the case of emergency
• Except the positions on the stages, in all SS start and SS STOP positions of each special stage are set the "psychological fence" with marks for spectators area
• In corporation with VFD Kumrovec firefighters are working on the full alert at the position of the refuel zone

Kumrovec will host rally crews on March 22nd and 23rd at the start of the new motorsport season. Organiser od the 3rd Rally Kumrovec received a total of 54 entries from five countries: Croatia, Austria, Slovenia, Hungary and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Unfortunately, on Tuesday night, the current champion of Croatia Juraj Sebalj has cheked out, so he will not compete in Kumrovec. This year, he decided to devote more attention to marketing than defending the title. Therefore the focus will be on the appearance at the Croatia Rally in September. At a press conference the organizer informed the media representatives about the preparation of the first automotive race in Croatia in year 2013.

Daniel Saskin and Damir Bruner from AK D.T. Porec Mitshubishi Lancer Evo X are winners of 3rd Rally Kumrovec organized by the AC Delta Sport. They left Rajko Zakelj and Blaz Selan from Autosport Jason, in a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 9 with 0:35,6 behind and brothers Tomislav and Zdravko Skalic from ACC Sveta Nedelja in Lada VFTS with even 2:57,2 behind.
In the rally 45 crews has started, and a very tough and demanding rally, which drove through municipalities and Zagorska Kumrovec village, managed to finish them only 28th.
